The Special Research Initiative established through a grant from the Illinois Council on Food and Agriculture has established a collaborative research project into the study of biomass cropping systems for Illinois. This has brought together Professors, Graduate Students and Researchers from departments ranging from Plant Biology to Chemistry and Economics at the University of Illinois.
